This inverter 12V , special el tape allows you to power up to 4m of 1cm-wide tape, or 2m of 2cm-wide tape. It features a flashing function and connects directly to a wiring harness (red wire on +, black wire on -).

The inverter is specifically adapted to strip lights that operate on the electroluminescence principle. By raising the frequency of the current from 50-60 Hertz to several hundred or even several thousand Hertz, light is created along the entire length of the el tape and over 360 degrees.

The advantages of electroluminescent lighting:

The el tape emits no heat and adapts to your every whim. It consumes 30 to 50% less energy than an LED, 60 to 80% less than a light bulb and 90 to 99% less than conventional neon.
